Just One Little Thing-Blessing StoneOur human compassion binds us the one to the other – not in pity or patronizingly, but as human beings who have learnt how to turn our common suffering into hope for the future.

~ Nelson Mandela ~

Rough on one side and smooth on the other…just like life.  Place in your hand between your thumb and index finger, and hold it to remind yourself that there is always something to be thankful for, no matter what your circumstance.

I have said this simple phrase literally thousands of times.  I say it as I give away one of my JOLT Blessing Stones.  I’ve been sharing them with people on my journey for years now.  Usually, when I meet people, they tell me their story.  At a speaking event, at Costco, the library, the hockey rink,  even at the border between Canada and the United States.  We connect, and I place the stone in their hand, leaving them with this tangible little piece of hope.

I know I am not curing disease, or ending famines or wars.  But it is my small way of spreading a little goodness in a world that can be far too harsh sometimes.  I know what it feels like to be groundless, floating in sadness, feeling like you are slipping away.  I want to give people something to hold onto, to remind them that they are okay.

For the month of February, I’ve been sending them all over the world.  I send you two, one to keep, one to give away to a person who needs a little love, or a little JOLT. It has been a thrill to see them travel, and to hear the stories.  I thought you would like to see some of the fun we’ve been having.  Person to person, sharing love.

And, if you haven’t requested your free blessing stones yet, you have a few more days.  Click here to get yours.

Sending hugs, kisses, and wishes for oodles of one little things,

Kelly
