Fill your paper with the breathings of your heart.

Have your story of resilience and gratitude published in Kelly Buckley’s third book, “Broken Beautiful Me.”
Kelly is looking for stories of people just like you, who have been knocked down by life, but found a way, with grace and gratitude to pick themselves up and put themselves back together again.
Broken Beautiful Me compares our lives to the Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with a lacquer dusted with gold. Just as this art treats breakage as part of the history of an object that makes it more valuable, so must we learn to embrace change and let it reveal our own inner beauty that can only come through pain.
Submit your 1200 word essay to firstname.lastname@example.org. Kelly will accept entries from October 20th-December 31st and will announce the selected writers in January 2016.
